This is the new Bulgaria 2016-2018 home kit by the spanish brand Joma, made in memory of those who lost their lives in the famous April uprising - 140 years ago. The official home shirt is in the traditional colours of white, green and red.
Part of the kit are several elements, which are emblematic for this well known historical event. Onto the chest of the Bulgarian internationals will lay the emblem of a lion in a shield - a revived character, who is based on the coat of arms of King Ferdinand I, which at the time was the official emblem of Bulgaria.
