Hearts 16/17 Puma Away Kit

Hearts revealed the new 16/17 away football kit by Puma. In a radical departure from the traditional maroon of the home strip, Hearts have called on the rich history of the club to produce a homage to the 5th Earl of Rosebery.

A keen racehorse owner and patron of football, the Earl became Prime Minister in 1894 and was also President of the Scottish Football Association and Honorary President of Hearts.

His racing colours of primrose yellow and pink were worn by the Scottish national team on nine occasions between 1881 and 1951, most notably in 1900 when Scotland defeated England 4-1.
