Sunderland 16/17 Adidas Home Kit

Sunderland AFC has unveiled its home kit for the 2016-17 season by Adidas.

The shirt proudly bears the name of the club’s principal partner Dafabet, and of course features Sunderland’s classic red and white stripes.

Gold detailing throughout the branding on the kit also pays tribute to a classic club colour and marks a move back to the predominantly red base design, which remains hugely popular with fans and players alike.

As with all adidas high performance apparel, the new kit includes the latest in cutting edge Climacool material, designed to provide the players with the best in lightweight and breathable technologies.

The shorts are Sunderland’s traditional black, with gold detailing. Red socks make a return for 2016-17 and feature black and gold accents.

Not a chance of Defoe wearing that next season if they go down.
