Atlanta United FC unveiled their new 2017 MLS Away Kit by Adidas.
Featuring Adidas’ adizero technology as the lightest jersey made, the new secondary kit is highlighted by a grey and victory red Atlanta United crest on the left chest, and victory red ATL UTD on the back neck. A life-style inspired jersey, it pays tribute to the origins of the city.
The front of the jersey is marked by horizontal tonal grey stripes as tribute to Atlanta’s history as a railroad town. In 1837 a spike was driven into Georgia’s red clay, declaring Central Avenue as Zero Milepost for the most significant transportation endeavor to that point for the South — a railroad from Atlanta to the Midwest. Atlanta’s own took it a step further, building the largest railroad hub of the times, connecting five settlements with four different railroad lines all converging at mile post one.

The back of the jersey is solid gray and engineered to allow for breathability, moisture management and temperature regulation. Featured on the back of the neck is a printed, victory red ATL UTD as a reminder that this city is united.
Sitting atop the heart, the team crest is red and grey, capturing the essence of the city, reflecting the lifestyle found only in Atlanta and features the club’s hallmark five stripes.
Highlighted on the sleeve are the prominent horizontal stripes stripes unique to the secondary kit, the MLS crest dipped in Atlanta United's Victory Red, and finished with a call out to the city's club.
