Celtic 2017-18 New Balance Away Kit

Celtic FC revealed the new 17/18 Away Kit from New Balance that will be worn by the treble winners during the 2017/18 season.

The new 2017-18 Away Kit is the latest in a series of the Live the Legend kit launches this summer, celebrating the legend of Celtic Football Club, while paying tribute to the legacy of Celtic’s greatest ever side, the Lisbon Lions.

The shirt is a mix of dark and light green hoops and sports the specially commissioned, 50th anniversary commemorative gold kit crest – a unique feature on all Celtic kits for the new campaign.

The classic gold detail of the crest, New Balance branding and sponsor are complimented by a woven buttoned collar and gold trim shoulder seam.

The shirt draws further inspiration from the Lisbon era, with the green and white hoops of Celtic and the black and blue stripes of Inter Milan featured in the inner back neck of the jersey.

Green shorts and dark green socks with a narrow gold trim complete the look of the six-in-a-row Champions’ new 2017/18 Away Kit.

s*u*i* idea having the away kit the same colour as home. They could have done what Hibs have done, have elements of green and white in the strip.

The sleeves on that keeper top are quite something.

Safe to say Celtic have the classiest kits so far. Both the home and away kits look outstanding. Honestly hope they don't have a third kit that ruins this, and if they do it needs to be black with gold accents and a bit of green or white.

Home kit green. Away kit, green. Third kit...?
That seems pretty s*u*i* to me.

Ok im a celtic fan but thats more like a polo shirt than a football shirt.. uninspiring design from NB. The quicker Celtics contract ends with them the better... umbro or Adidas all day

@Waldo Home kit = Almost all white
Away kit = All dark green

Why is this so hard to understand
If they played a team wearing an all green kit at home it would look like a team all in white v a team all in green

We've had many green away kits in the past without any problems

I've left a few replies on here, but stop worrying about the home and away kit being green. On TV and at the game the home kit almost appears all white. The away kit will look all dark green. It would be a problem if the rumoured 3rd kit is a green shirt instead of a yellow number or last year's black and gold, hibs away would be a nightmare. There's been green away kits before and it's fine, e.g. 15/16 there was the usual home kit, all green away kit and a luminous green 3rd kit, without any problems

I agree with those saying a green away kit is somewhat useless. The need for a third kit is obvious.

The kit itself is quite decent, although I think the two shades of green don't match very well. Could have been better.

white green home two tone green away light green 3rd kit what the hell surely another colour apart from green should have been used on the 3rd kit

The little gold strip under the arms is pretty pointless, but it's a pretty nice kit otherwise.

I assume this will be used against teams who have a substantial amount of white in their kit but, as mentioned above, they'll need a 3rd kit to wear against Hibs.

design meeting must have been fun

"So lads, Celtic use a lot of green on their home kit, what colour should we make the away kit?"

    "...green?"

"good job. see you all monday"

Trust the Irish to make the home top green and away top green, I blame the schools.

Due to Hibs being back in the top league a 3rd kit will be necessary as both home and away kits will clash under today's rules. Remember back in the 60s and 70s when both could play in green, sadly those days are gone. Stunning kit though.

@Kane 94 Minutes. When you see the team play in the stadium or on TV, the home kit is predominantly white, the away will look all green. The home kit never actually looks very green. They could either carry the black and gold kit over as 3rd kit or go for an all yellow
