Ireland 2017/18 New Balance Home Kit

This is the new Republic of Ireland 17/18 home football shirt by New Balance.

The home shirt, in a traditional green, is inspired by the one the Ireland team of 1924 wore when they made their debut at the Olympic Games, beating Bulgaria 1-0.

It features a button crew neck, trimmed with white and orange on the collar and sleeves. The shirt is in a tonal striped pattern, with Éire printed on the back of the neck and #COYBIG on the inside of the collar.

The kit is completed by white shorts and green socks.

I'm with Muineachan above. As an Irish fan I am so happy to see the back of Umbro. They can do some great kits, e.g. last season's West Ham, but their Irish kits have been appalling every time.
But....... this NB effort isn't any better. It's far too similar to the Umbro designs. And the collar is ridiculous.
F*** when will I get to buy my team's jersey??, I'm just not wearing this either..

I think we could've done with a shake up of our crest - revert back to a retro style simplified version. This would've been the perfect chance to that. I would the training gear will be nice , similar to the new balance Irish olympian gear etc

To all the Irish fans who feel underwhelmed by this kit: I would gladly have NB making England shirts than the crap we have to put up with from Nike.

Exactly the same kit as the last Umbro one, minus the collar

Marginally better than the awful kit Umbro produced last time...

I don't rate any of the NB stuff, Umbro by far was a country mile better than this, and the NB quality has come into question over the last few years, I won't be buying an of it's items.

NB really had an opportunity to give us a first NB jersey to remember, this is average at best, disappointed, Umbro so much nicer.

Why does Ireland get new kits like after every 3-4 months?

As an Ireland supporter I'm kind of disappointed. As per usual I hate the horrific sponsor on the national team shirt but as for the design it's fairly boring. Umbro put out better for us over the years.
