The shirt’s engineered knit zones create a subtle geometric pattern that enhances fit for the athlete in motion. Its round neckline is punctuated by navy blue, white and red detailing. Reflecting the club’s inner pride and history, “Paris” is knitted onto the back neck, and “Grandeur” and “Passion” are knitted onto the cuff of the sleeve.

The sides of the kit feature a blue stripe that runs the length of the shirt and yellow shorts. Expanding when the player is in motion, the stripes maximize ventilation.

Yellow socks, incorporating Nike Grip technology, complete the kit. They feature “Paris” on the front in contrasting blue and a distinctive line on the back of the calf.

    I'm a PSG fan.

Generaly, I like their home shirts,

Historically, the colour of yellow really has no connection with the club.

Yeah, I get it that the yellow colour is a connection // tribute to Brazilian players who have played for the club.

    So what?

We do not see English clubs wearing an away shirt that is dark blue as a tribute to Scotland players who played for their club or orange for Dutch players.

I'd like to have seen a redesigned white or red, or combination of both, as the away shirt.

I think I'll skip this shirt this year.

A message for Nike: "This is PSG you are designing for not Nantes, Norwich or Watford.".

At least Nike did not use the "bar code" design like this years Inter and Barcelona shirts.

Unfortunately it is two thumbs down for me.

@88milesperhour I don't get your answer, who had worn Orange? A lot of clubs, half with no historial explain and half with it. How orange came to light? In my answer i said indeed that there was clubs who had worn crazy colors (i mean, strange colors to their historical colors) for the sake of homages, but there was a lot more of clubs that used away shirt as a marketing weapon, without need to explain the choice of colors besides aesthetics.

The guy that wrote the first comment makes an erroneous idea that english clubs are paradise for respecting traditional colors, but it's illusion completely. That's my point.

@Jorge de Souza Well the argument is certainly not invalid mate and I definitely wouldn't describe Orange as a crazy or nonsense colour!! A lot of clubs wear and have worn away kits to honour past players as had been mentioned in previous comments!!

@Michael Flynn, Canada. This argument is completely invalid, english clubs usually not use crazy colors to pay homage to idols nacionality, but instead had worn nonsense colors for no reason at all! Look what Adidas did with Sunderland and Swansea in the last few seasons as well with Newcastle throghout the 00's...

I think if you supports a club in South America (and maybe low divisions of Europe), it's normal to you complain about broke traditions, because in South America really is crazy bring an strange flamboyant color to an away shirt... but in Europe's top divisions the away shirt has been treated as an marketing weapon for years.

@Michael Flynn, Canada. Ipswich Town have had orange away shirts as a tribute to the Dutch players that have played for them. In particular, Arnold Muhren and Frans Thijssen

Pays homage to Braxilian players with a yellow STRIP (without green trim, blue shorts and white socks). Braxil used to play in white, why not honour players (lol) and the 40+yr history of the club with a trad white away shirt.?

I know it's a template kit, and that pretty much every team in Europe who sports Nike will have a variation on it, but, I love the colours and look of this.

Not much to be said here. Tin pot club pays homage to non-existent heritage.

@Jorge de Souza Mate, you seem to be saying that clubs wear away colours for no other reason than just to make money but I'm saying you are wrong because a lot or clubs are wearing colours like orange because it is part of their history and as such are respecting traditional colours!!!

@Michael Flynn, Canada. Millwall's dark blue home kit is actually dark blue in reference to the scottish men at the club when it was founded.

Rangers have had an orange away kit in tribute to the dutch players and manager in the squad (unfortunately coloured for another reason :/ ) and have had an away kit styled after Monaco's home kit for the players who used to play there.

There's nothing wrong with doing things a bit differently for an away kit rather than the same white and red over and over. Away kits should be for expression

I've come to the point where I'm satisfied when Nike makes a kit that is not a total disgrace. I guess this tells a lot about the overall originality and quality of their designs lately.

That being said, this kit is "satisfying" to me. Not great, but it's alright.
