PSV 2017-18 Umbro Home Kit

PSV have revealed their new home kit by Umbro for the 2017-18 season.

The design of the PSV 2017-18 home kit has been inspired by the shirt that Ronaldo wore when he made his mark with PSV in 1994.

The Umbro design sees the return of the familiar red (four) and white (three) PSV stripes. The order of the stripes deviates from the shirts worn in the previous seasons. PSV’s and Umbro’s designers have opted to insert a white strip in the middle of the shirt and put a red and white stripe on the sleeves. The back of the shirt contains a red square with the player’s name and number with stripes on the bottom part of the shirt. The shorts are traditionally black and the socks white, with some red flashes.

Bryony Coates, Umbro designer said: “We see it as a challenge each season to maintain the fresh look of the home kit without meddling with PSV’s traditional red and white colours. In the design of the 2017-18 home kit we put a white strip in the middle of the shirt and partly continuing strips on the back The shirt radiates the values of PSV. It has a strong historical origin but is at the same time fresh, contemporary and unique.”

@Ben Sorry, don't agree. Nike have produced some of the worst kits in history during the past 5 years.

Looks pretty good to me. I like the Umbro logos on shoulders, it gives the kit a retro feel.

    Good job Umbro!
