Russia 2018 World Cup Adidas Home Kit

Russia 2018 World Cup Adidas Home Kit

The last time Russia players tasted international glory, it was as a part of the Soviet Union's gold medal-winning exploits in Seoul. In taking design cues from the kit those legends wore on their way to victory in 1988, this Russia 2018 World Cup Adidas Home shirt honours their amazing achievements.

A replica of the home shirt worn by today's Russia team, it has a slightly looser cut and sweat-wicking Climalite for fan comfort. It's finished with a woven national badge. adidas is dedicated to creating products in ways that minimise their environmental impact. This jersey is made with recycled polyester to save resources and decrease emissions.

This is really a very nice kit. I agree that last year's Confederations Cup kit was gorgeous, but this one is not far. This kit is inspired in the 1988 kit of the Soviet Union. When the USSR won the Gold Medal at the Olympics in Seoul. And is very true to that specific kit. Not as the Germany (1990), Colombia (1990) or Spain (1994) kits that are not as true to the originals as this one...

Such a shame, their most recent kit (that they've barely worn) is gorgeous, then they release this cr@p for the World Cup

Only thing I like about this are the socks to be honest.
