Schalke 04 revealed their new Adidas third shirt for the upcoming 2017/18 season.
The new third kit is an homage to the town which FC Gelsenkirchen-Schalke 04 come from yet the tribute doesn't end with the new shirt's colours.
The city's coat of arms is embroided around the neck area and the shirt's buttons ensure it looks stylish on and off the pitch.

Black and green on the outside, blue and white on the inside - that's the new Schalke third kit's motto.
"We are always aware of our heritage. With our new third kit, we're paying tribute to the city of Gelsenkirchen by wearing the city's colours. Like our new away kit, it combines retro with a modern design", stated head of marketing at Schalke 04, Alexander Jobst.
