This is the new Sunderland 17/18 Home Kit by Adidas. The shirt features a woven club crest and engineered fabric that benefits from adidas CLIMACOOL performance technology.

The new home shirt for the upcoming season is rooted in Sunderland's history as it takes inspiration from the first ever red and white shirt worn by the club in the 1880s.

Why don't they sell the top with stripes on back and instead of ruining the top for casual wear..cos it looks awful and odd.

It's like Adidas used up their entire stripe quota on the front of the shirt and then realised they had nothing left for the back.

It's an awesome shirt spoiled by the single colour back. It'd be good if they put stripes on the back, and then put the names and numbers in a plain panel which could be ironed on too if you wanted that.

Adidas stripes should have been black as white Adidas stripes are lost due to kits thinner red & white stripes.

It'd look tidy WITHOUT the back panel. Reminds me of the late 80s Sheffield United kit by Umbro. Although it would :D
