Wellington Phoenix and adidas have launched their new home strip, welcoming in the club’s second decade in the A-League by incorporating bold innovations with a classic Phoenix look.
The home kit design delivers a clean and modern update from their predecessors, but with the incorporation of the club’s new crest continue to celebrate a uniquely Wellingtonian design.
The home jersey features strong, bold black and yellow stripes, the iconic colours of Wellington. Also, located near the heart of each player is the new team logo – with its traditional depiction of the spirit of the taniwha, or Phoenix, from a Māori legend that is anchored in the creation story of Wellington harbour.
