West Bromwich Albion 2017-18 Adidas Home Kit

West Bromwich Albion revealed next season’s Premier League home kit made by Adidas.

Its design stays with Albion’s traditional navy blue and white stripes with the most obvious change coming to the back of the shirt – a change from a full white back, to a full navy back.

Another noticeable difference is to the collar – the button down crew neck of last season has been replaced with a white v neck.

The shirt, made by adidas, is manufactured with Climacool fabric and includes an embroidered red adidas logo on the chest adjacent to the Club crest.

Similar to last season, the shorts and socks are white, with the addition of navy blue adidas stripes to replace last season’s light blue.

All home shirts will carry the branding of our new principal sponsors Palm as confirmed by the Club.

The new season also brings revised letters and numbers with new Premier League branding present on all numbers.

I really don't like striped kits that have a plain back.

@Forest Fifer Having a solid panel on the back is horrendous and rather have an all plain back like this west brom shirt, I am sure that prem rules state no stripes on back of shirts

@To the forest PL rules as of when? I'm sure that at least one team had stripes on the back last season. Or at least have a small solid panel for the name and numbers, with stripes below and to either side.

@Forest Fifer I think newcastle fans have been misled and when kit comes out the shirts will have a plain back as that is premier league rules, put puma probably did this on purpose to catch out potential pirate companies who copy shirts.

What's wrong with stripes on the back and red numbers? If Newcastle can do it...

Can we please ditch adidias - lazy template rubbish yet again, can't even be bothered to make their own logo align properly with the stripes. A kit worthy of the Pulis style of football. :(

Whats with the players modelling shirts like they are gladiators or whatever..still least whoever they are they ain't covered in sleeves of tattoos on this one...
Another thing is the Adidas badge in red.. it's quite annoying how it doesnt all sit within one stripe... it looks like a shirt printing error..

Why is the adidas logo not centered on the white stripe? That's just sloppy.

    Otherwise, it's decent enough.

Is the back really a slightly darker blue?

It would be very good but unfortunately the small red logo ruining the shirt. The Club is the most important, not the manufacturer! Adidas logo should be in blue on a white stripe. Just watch the Real Madrid shirt, everything is balanced. Unfortunately another year I have to wait for something better and board of directors won't touch my money (last year s*u*i* sky blue colour - we aren't The Citizens or The Sky Blues, we are The Albion. Green and yellow also much awaited.

@Garf Premier League rules do state that from the 2017/18 season no team can have a striped back on their shirt in the area where the number is displayed in order to aid referees and TV viewers. It should have been from last season hence the all white back of our shirt last year but a late delay to the rules meant it was carried over to this season as some teams such as Southampton had already finalised their 2016/17 designs.

Looks good with the stripes on the side. Sponsor is not great but at least it's the same colour as the shirt..
