In 1919, Brasil hosted the first edition of Copa America. Wearing a white kit, the team made history that year by winning the tournament at home and starting a journey of victories that transformed Brazilian football into a national icon.

Merging the early-1920s vintage feel of football with the modern style of contemporary sport, the special-edition Copa America jersey celebrates the 100th anniversary of that energetic moment.

not the brazilian national team i knew, since neymar acting out too many times than actual playing as the team for the team anywhere he is now. so no, i'm not interested with any jersey he wears nowadays.

Gutsy move! They got rid of the white kit after the loss to Uruguay back in 1950 and introduced the yellow as a more "patriotic" kit. I like the classic look, very 30's Brazil!

I think the writer was meant to write that it was to THEIR first Copa America Title and first time they hosted it (which was the 3rd edition held in 1919)
