@BigJockKnew69 The English premier league is the biggest because the English premier league is the most marketable league, They have more tv collective and distribution rights, they have the most competitive top flight division, top footballers, foreign and local, they develop English youth well and their academies for juniors is well run. The English have a wonderful setup for football. Other countries recognise this and want a piece of that pie. The English premier league is not big because of Asia or America. It’s big because other countries see the history, the success, the passionate fans, the stadiums, the self sustainability of football and countries want to invest, but that success is down to England’s and England’s alone, ability to create the greatest spectacle of sport through football and its lifestyle for fans. Your hatred for England is disturbing and sad. The fact you created another post with a different name to like your own comment says it all. The English premier league doesn’t belong to me, it belongs to all English citizens, including the welsh clubs. The English culture around football is one of the best things in the world, your hatred for England, English football and English people won’t change that, champ.

@Briggs You are an absolute moron. Part of the reason that the PL is so big is because of the love for the league outside of England, especially in Asia were it is adored and everyone over there follows it. When I was in Thailand the amount of local Thai people wearing Liverpool and Man Unt kits and the amount of bars and places showing the games was insane. If an Asian company wants to promote it's name on a kit it's because it has such a huge fanbase over there that using a company (football team) on the other side of the world to market your brand is because of how big that company is in Asia. You think the PL is English but nothing about it is ENGLISH, the odd top player yea, but every big club is owned by outsiders, top players are outsiders and nothing about the fake bloated league belongs to you so shut it.

The levels clubs stoop to, to collect cash is disturbing. The PL is the most coveted and sought after in the world for commercial marketing competition. Poor FA & EPL management. Sponsors should be made to translate, not pay petty cash to get their ill thought out logo on a shirt. It’ll go the other way for clubs when fans stop purchasing club gear. Which is silly for too many clubs nowadays. The football fashion industry is a billion dollar market, and clubs lose out on a piece of that pie, due to sacrificing a quick buck for poor sponsor negotiation. Giving the fans what they want, and having them walk around in everyday life wearing club gear is literally the easiest and cheapest marketing you can do.

Aside from the fact that betting companies and loan companies should be banned from sponsoring football clubs, there should surely be some rule that the wording of a sponsor’s logo must be in English - there’s no way I’d walk around in a shirt like that. Which is a shame, because it’s actually a very nice one.

It is quite a nice shirt, but the sponsor? Sorry but in my opinion the sponsors logo absolutely ruins it.

@Russel1311 You can ask for the shirt without the sponsors logo on the front.

@Briggs Regarding the translating into English of Chinese, I’d hazard a guess, and I’m going out on a limb here, that in English that bit of Chinese writing translates, roughly, as “Love Bet”

    I could be wrong though!
