Dundee United 2019-20 Macron Home Kit

Dundee United revealed the new 19/20 home kit by Macron.

The predominantly Tangerine shirt tips it hat to the club's iconic 85/86 kit. The embossed tonal diagonal pattern makes a welcome return alongside a modern take on the v-neck and sleeve trims.

In another unique feature, the rampant lion - part of our club crest - stands fearless on the back neck of the shirt.

Club partner's Utilita, JF Kegs, Norman Jamieson Ltd, Paint-tec and Newtyle Commercial Ltd. all feature on the official kits and Dundee United will take to the field wearing the uniform for the first time on Friday 12 July in the BetFred Cup tie at Tynecastle.

The shirt is based on the 85-87 shirt, which Dundee United wore when they pumped Barcelona home & Away, got to the UEFA cup final. Etc.

All they have to do when wearing this is get promoted and they have a good signing in Shankland, hopefully see them back where they belong as Scotland’s 4th best supported club it is shocking they are down in the 2nd tier!

Lovely kit. Simple, no gimmicks, lovely colour, sponsors blend in well.. Everything just works! But am I the only one getting a little ocd why macron used their old logo for the keeper kit but their new one everywhere else?

Best Kit we have had in many years! Love how Macron have made an effort to look at the clubs identity and history and incorporated elements of it in their design, rather than the nike catalogue jobs we have been getting over the past decade from the JustSport deal.

This is an instant classic for United and will be a massive hit with the fans.

Well done Macron, smashing it this year - and not just with us.... Lazio, Nice, Hibs etc. all have really great kits.
