Manchester City 2019-20 Puma Home Kit

Manchester City 2019-20 Puma Home Kit #ManchesterCity #footballshirt #mcfc

Manchester City and Puma revealed their new 19/20 Home kit, which draws inspiration from Manchester’s industrial heritage, celebrating the true grit, fight, and character that emerged from the cotton mills of Manchester.

Following Manchester City’s unprecedented success last season in men’s, women’s and academy football, the club will push for new honours this season, wearing uniquely designed kit that also features the Club’s 125th anniversary crest.

The woven jacquard wave pattern, running through the shirt, is a visual representation of the looms which were integral to the industrial revolution in Manchester. The iconic City blue is highlighted with purple, a colour previously used in club kits, and is used on the Home shirt for the first time.

That's one very ordinary looking kit.
Puma have never won the top flight competition in England.

"...inspiration from Manchester’s industrial heritage, celebrating the true grit, fight, and character that emerged from the cotton mills of Manchester." Yes, the Etihad sponsor sees to that.

Never been a fan of Pumas designs but this is lovely, and imo already better than any Nike kit they've had

@Musky Bearing in mind the cotton industry was built on slavery, I wonder how that will be represented. Maybe a chain pattern around the socks.

@Old jock What you on about ? Old Jock.
Easily the best league in the world with city, liverpool, spurs, chelsea, utd, arsenal all with realistic ambitions trying to win it
Factor in everton, foxes, wolves, burnley etc you have 10 or 12 teams fighting for 6 euro places
Scotland-rangers or celtic(tho celtic have won 9 on the trot)
    France-Psg
Spain-barca or real madrid tho occasionaly a challenge from AMadrid, valencia
Italy-Inter,Juve or Acmilan with roma, lazio or napoli but tha league is a mess
So maybe its sour gr*p*s on your part, with so much money floating about in the english game
Oh almost forgot, the 2 european finals last year were all english affairs
England were semi finalists in men and womens world cups
    If anything,it could be argued
The english league and english football is the best in the world tho france and spain might not agree
    Thats all folks

@Socrates Manchester cotton mill workers went on strike to support Abraham Lincoln in the abolition of slavery... hence Lincoln Square in Manchester...

@Musky not only that, but the kit is cookie cutter (template) that Puma uses for many clubs, so how did they portray inspiration?
