Sheffield United unveiled their new Home football kit for the 19/20 Premier League season.

The signature red and white home shirt features new shirt sponsor USG, which was announced last month as the club's new principal partner in a record-breaking sponsorship deal.

New partner USG is a multi-award winning, FX & CFD broker, enabling clients worldwide to trade currency pairs, indices and commodities in premium trading conditions. As their market is aimed at over 18s, they are in full support of their logo being replaced by Utilita for junior shirts.

The Blades are expected to debut their 2019/20 red and white home kit during their pre-season fixture in Portugal against Le Liga side Real Betis.

I don't mean this in any political sense, simply aesthetically, but the whole shirt (aided by the USG logo, logo typeface, etc.) looks just really fascist.

@Bladesman What does Britannia rule, exactly? And why celebrate settler colonialism in the 21st century? Bizarre.

    Anyway, the kit is average.

This shirt screams out "I'm a fascist, dictator and you will do as you are told" The black, neo-nazi shorts coupled with the Argentinian 'Junta' red socks suggest that this shirt is ready to invade any neighbouring country and to hell with the consequences. The whole ensemble has a menacing, dark, malevolent tone. The badge looks like a bird poo.

@J. Futuristic How so? It's a great kit and a nice logo compared to the crappy Asian betting billboards that take up 50% of a shirt.

@J. Futuristic I'm wondering where the double union jack type thing fits with USG but it's obviously their logo. Financial companies always seem a bit fascist to me anyway. Good shirt though.

@RabFleck Europe's laughing stock? Try the strongest, best to live, safest to live. To point you in the right direction of laughing stock nations, you'd be looking at Greece, Germany, France just to name a few. But be careful, your jealousy is showing.

@J. Futuristic It does. Brave of Sheff. Utd to carry the flag of Europe's laughing stock. Still, the shirt itself isn't too bad.

Has anybody pointed out this British neo-fascist symbol is the logo of an Australian trading company?

@ira Our team cost £5m and were bought from league 1 and the championship. No one expects anything from us. There's no pressure on us. We'll get a significant amount of money from just a season in the premier league which will help us grow long term. So yeah...re;egation fodder but then again we had no right to get promoted did we?

I hope we beat your team of expensive players...that would be lovely.

Love the new shirt. Looks very smart. Was quite shocked to read some see the Union flag as fascist???? We have to be the only b*o*d* country in the WORLD where flying our flag is seen as racist????? Like another poster wrote I'd rather it be the cross of England but hey I guess that would make us Combat 18!!!!!! :(

@Derek Pretty vivid imagery there, Derek. Grand if you're actually designing a kit for Third Reich Athletic, but give the poor Blades a break. I'm sure their intentions are somewhat purer.

@Richards I just mean like the whole package at a glance has that aesthetic. Not suggesting the Union Jack = fascism or anything like that by any means.

With the stark, strong lines and colors, as well as the USG font, just reminds me of campaign/propaganda posters of the 1920s-30s and such
