AFC Bournemouth and Umbro revealed the new away kit for the 2020/21 campaign and remaining games of the 2019/20 season

The club are excited to further strengthen the link between themselves and the local area with this unique design which will be worn by Eddie Howe’s side for the first time at Old Trafford as the Cherries take on Manchester United.

@William First you opine that le Tissier was the only great player in Southampton's history. When offered illustrious alternatives you change the goalposts and say that to be a great player one has to stay at the club. Again, one club players are offered, and, with no knowledge of Paine's England pedigree, you say he is not a great. Surely 'banter' has to be well argued and intelligent? Otherwise it is easily discredited. Your 'banter' is notably lacking in Bournemouth greats. Ted MacDougal?

Wasn't having a rant, just a bit of banter . Terry Paine as you rightly say was an extremely loyal servant to the club . Hardly a a superstar . No disrespect to the club if he was that good he would surely have moved on . Having said that didn't realise he made 19 appearances for England . Cheers for the chats.

@Miltonthesaintsspringerspaniel Point taken . Seriously though Terry Paine !!! Most of the rest made it with other clubs . At least le Tissier was loyal and a true Saints great as well as being vastly underrated .

@William Apology accepted. You had included some misspellings in your original submission. If le Tissier is the only good player in our history, perhaps you could describe the various talents of Paine, Channon, Davies, Keegan, Shilton, Shearer, Bale, van Dyck, Mane etc?

@Miltonthesaintsspringerspaniel That's good coming from a Southampton fan . By the way did you mean Umbro or Bournemouth ? Southampton a team that's had 1 decent player in their history !!! ( Matt Le Tissier )

A couple of years back Umbro started producing some decent kits some even had there diamond detail as a trim which was a nice touch , now they produce a crew neck tee shirt with some ridiculous print that is supposed represent the pier . What an load of rubbish. Who drew it ? A 6 year old ? ( Sorry that's insulting 6 year olds )

Well looks like the League Championship is the unfortunate recipient of this ghastly kit.

Once they'd settled on that repulsive colour, it didn't really matter what they slapped onto it. A hideous insult to football kits.

@William Paine played nineteen times for England and over 800 times for Saints, so certainly meets your recently added loyalty criteria. Nick Holmes would too, and and increasingly, James Ward-Prowse. But hey, I don't let the facts get in the way of an overly zealous rant.
