This is the new El Salvador commemorative 2020 shirt by Umbro.
Celebrating the nation being the first from Central America to qualify for the World Cup, in 1970, this shirt marks the fiftieth anniversary of the achievement and features detailing of the time passed, and the year of the Mexico mundial on the simple embroidered “ES” crest. The understated blue base is embellished only with a geological mass as a shadow lower down.
The one-off shirt features a retro-styled printed number 10 on the back, evoking the stylings of the first tournament televised primarily in colour.
