German Bundesliga side 1. Mainz 05 have unveiled their 2021 “Carnival” shirt.
The Kappa design features a red raglan sleeve effect framing a multicolour trunk. Diagonal strips of blue, yellow, red and white continue the traditional palette of a feature shirt to celebrate the carnival, and this is complemented by the reverse featuring the names of those who have financially contributed to assist Mainz during the pandemic.
On the upper back of each individually numbered limited edition shirt is a detail celebrating the ties between the club and city, while sponsor Kömmerling has chosen its central position to market their Your Window[.de] initiative.
