Puma has revealed new 2020-21 home and away jerseys for South African football club Mamelodi Sundowns, with the words “50 Years” below the redesigned team logo, which marks an important milestone.
The kits are in refreshed colours of yellow, green and blue, true to the colours of the Brazil national team from which Mamelodi Sundowns earned their nickname: The Brazilians. The nickname extends far beyond shared colours, as Masandawana play with an African-flavoured Samba style inspired by their South American brothers.

The players shirt is a slim fit cut with a Johnny-collar reminiscent of 1970s style playing jerseys (to symbolically link the jersey to the era in which the Club was established) and is made from 100% recycled polyester. It has venting on the front and the word Sundowns printed on the back of the collar as a special treatment for the players. The replica shirt for fans is a regular fit and has a Mamelodi Sundowns applique badge with the 50 Years wording and an embroidered PUMA logo.
