Manchester United 2020-21 Adidas Third Kit

Manchester United and Adidas revealed the new 20/21 third kit, introducing a visually distinctive design, inspired by striped jerseys from the club’s history.

From United’s first striped kit over 100 years ago, to the eye-catching designs of the 1970s and 80s, the latest release aims to provide a fresh update to tradition, while delivering a vibrant new print.

To create this new design, adidas re-drew, hacked and re-imagined combined elements from various jerseys throughout the club’s long history to create a bold new pattern. Utilising United’s iconic club colours of red, white and black, the kit is an original story with a modern update.

Be calm my badger friends, the MUFC website states that the zebra inspired shorts are for fans only (and lets face it you would have to be a fan to wear those shorts. Meanwhile, the team will wear solid white shorts with the shirt. Should look very cool, as a badger I will certainly buy at least 3.....game, sett and match.

I saw a link earlier that had the "designers" on and from what I can gather they seemed to be talking about the white adidas stripes in the sleeves of the classic red shirts. How this bears any resemblance to that i don't know.
They're Man Utd fans too apparently
In fact in part this seems to be borrowing from the umbro diamond pattern

if Nigeria had this as an away shirt would people still say the same, they come up with these sort of design look at their past designs.think if I’m right the last Nigerian home shirt was classed as a classic

Adidas are obviously trying to get out of their partnership with manu by designing s*i* like this for them , by accepting this kit Manu should be kicked out of football, old crapford should be realized to the ground and replaced by a council recycling centre

You just know this was created by the creative after they caned it all weekend. Deadline looming, they just printed the template and used the black shape. We'll done Adidas. The worst kit ever made for a second rate club. Laughing stocks.

This disaster of a shirt has to be viewed alongside the shorts, that are equally ridiculous.
How the marketing team managed to get this approved is beyond me.
“ the kit is an original story with a modern update.” Maybe it is but it doesn’t stop it being a pile of ****.
