PSV has unveiled the new Puma Third kit to be worn by the men’s, women’s, youth teams and Esports teams in their respective cup competitions for the 2020/21 season.

The new PSV Eindhoven Third kit embodies the history and culture of this forward-thinking city, with the red highlights in the graphic paying homage to the city’s GLOW festival.

Eindhoven is recognized around the world as ‘The City of Light’, a city vibrant with culture, collaboration and global influence. In 1891, Eindhoven’s very own Philips opened their first light bulb factory and soon became the biggest light bulb supplier in the world.

PSV (Philips Sport Association) was formed in 1913 by and for employees of the organization and is deeply connected to the city and its cultural influence. The annual GLOW festival, which was has been held in Eindhoven since 2006, celebrates the latest innovations as artists and designers from all over the world present their light structures before projecting their art onto buildings all over the city, truly turning Eindhoven into ‘The City of Light’.

    So the club that represents the city of light gets a dark third kit. Makes no sense ?‍♂️

    These descriptions just get more and more ridiculous. Next they’ll be saying the grey represents the rhinos and the Puma logo represents a big cat enclosure at Eindhoven’s most beloved zoo, opened 1904.
