Rotherham United revealed the first of two ‘secondary’ kits manufactured by Puma Teamwear which will be worn by the first team on their travels during the 2020/21 Sky Bet Championship campaign.
Supporters who are old enough to remember the year 1994 will notice similarities between this design and the away strip of that era, which also combined the use of contrasting red and black stripes on a white bodied jersey.
Like the home kit, the 2020/2021 alternate shirt will be sponsored again by Phil Smith and will display the Embark brand. On the reverse will be the logo of Hughie Construction, who have offices based at AESSEAL New York Stadium and are continuing to grow their business portfolio with the club.

The shirt technology is once again made of lightweight polyester with moisture wicking technology - designed to quickly draw sweat away from the body, keeping you drier, cooler and more comfortable for longer.
The accompanying black shorts are also made from 100% polyester and come complete with windmill crest and grown on waistband with inner drawcord, while the socks once again compliment the shirt design and are white in colour with the club initials ‘RUFC’ knitted into the reverse. The socks also feature a tonal detail in the form of a hoop at the top to turnover, while the Puma Cat branding is displayed on the front.
