Japanese J-League side Vissel Kobe have launched their new, 2021 Asics Home and Away kits.
The almost carbon copy chequerboard-turned-45-degrees shirt designs are not just similar to each other.
Producing an effect of the previous Home shirt “zoomed out”, with the same central band housing the Rakuten sponsorship - in the famous white on dark crimson on the primary version, and white on black on the Away - the designs seemingly bring little in terms of originality. With the chiaroscuro look on both kits, and consistent proportioning - aside from the backs and socks - they bring little more in terms of options for the pitch.

These options are barely even increased via the white and grey Third shirt as things stand - as yet only seen in graphical impression form - as that will be preferentially worn with the Away shorts and socks, in black and white respectively.
