Designed by rapper Kraantje Pappie and his associate Danny Knopf, this is the 2021-22 season Football Club Groningen Third shirt.
Manufactured by Robey, the new secondary change design for the Dutch Eredivisie side is green, black and orange, with the lattermost included to nod to times of solidarity when supporting the Oranje.
The inclusion of orange is also inspired by Nike’s “Dunk Syracuse” trainer, pairs of which were being worn when the aforementioned rapper and his girlfriend found out the latter was expecting a baby.

With a striped trunk augmented with patterned raglan sleeves, the usual hallmarks of a Robey Groningen shirt are present in the crest, manufacturer’s main logo and the sleeve logos - and in the presence of a four-leafed clover detail.
The shirt will be combined with complementary shorts and socks when it is debuted on 22nd January and has been revealed alongside a tracksuit which could be mistaken for a goalkeeper kit.
