Giants of Brazilian football Clube de Regatas do Flamengo have launched their new adidas Away shirt.
The 2021-22 design has a white trunk with a matching white stylised “V” neck and black and red textured raglan sleeves. This texture refers to the Japanese art of origami, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Flamengo’s 1981 Intercontinental Cup victory over Liverpool in Tokyo.
The cuffs and adidas shoulder stripes are in white, while the crest and adidas chest logo are in red, on a shirt that can be worn with white or black shorts and red, white or black sets of socks.
