Brazilian side Fortaleza Esporte Clube have unveiled a special 2022 Third shirt.
Billed as “Cinq”, it celebrates the fifth anniversary of the club having its own kit brand - “1918” - along with its French-influenced beginnings 103 years ago, and is styled accordingly.
The mainly blue design - which will most likely form a kit with white shorts and red socks - is heavily influenced by France’s Tricolore flag, with the palette and, particularly, the modified crest suggesting the iconic symbol. The sublimated detail, however, is more locally geared, representing a map of Fortaleza to honour the fanbase.

On the reverse, the number print also pays tribute to the Gallic standard, as it does on the green goalkeeper version of the shirt which also celebrates custodian Marcelo Boeck’s half-decade at the club.
