Rangers FC and Castore revealed their new 2021/2022 Rangers Away kit.
Inspired by rich and proud Govan heritage, red and black have featured in club kits since the early 1900s, famously matching the colours of the burgh they made their home.
The funnels of ships made in the local shipyards were also painted red and black, and the club’s connection to that heavy industry has stood the test of time, with ‘Every other Saturday’s my half day off’ still a fan favourite in the stands, and a throwback to Govan and Glasgow’s glory days on the Clyde when workers would pour out of the yards and into Ibrox.

Within the shirt is the inscription, ‘Peter McNeil’, brother of Moses who was commemorated inside this season’s home shirt, and another of the club’s founding fathers and himself a sports outfitter, owning a famous shop in the centre of Glasgow.
As well as the celebratory design, Castore have used their technical expertise to create a shirt with performance in mind. Crafted from a lightweight, breathable and moisture-wicking fabric with the right amount of stretch, it provides enhanced ventilation, easy movement and ultimate comfort.
