Reading FC revealed the new 21/22 home strip for their 150th anniversary season.
Nearly 150 years ago this club first played competitive football and the players took to the field wearing thin blue and white hoops, white shorts and hooped socks.
In the club's anniversary season, they will pay homage to their 19th century beginnings with a design based on the first ever kit worn by those who first represented Reading.

Some of the names of former players who have been inducted into the Royal's Supporters Trust’s Hall of Fame have been sublimated into the blue hoops, front and back. A tip of the cap to the generations of players who have bled blue and white ever since those 1871 beginnings.
The crest is woven in gold, while ‘1871-2021, 150 YEARS’ is written on the back of the home shirt and on the calf of the home socks.
