This is AS Saint-Étienne’s Third shirt for France’s upcoming Ligue 1 season.
The black and gold design features much of the stylings of the Home and Away releases - including the 1980s-nodding dual chalk stripes - but shifts embellishment almost entirely to the metallic tone and also carries the city’s coat of arms.
The one exception is the French Tricolore detail - unsurprisingly in blue, white and red - and the striking design, which pays tribute to both ASSE’s home and its mining traditions, will form a kit with matching shorts and socks.
