Samp for People is a 'special edition' jersey, created together by Macron and U.C. Sampdoria, which recalls the social responsibility project undertaken by the Sampdoria club and will be worn on the occasion of Sampdoria-Lazio on Sunday, December 5th.
The Samp for People shirt is navy blue and has a mandarin collar with silver edging, a feature also present on the sleeve edges.
The backneck is personalised with the Samp for People logo. On the right-front part, starting from the shoulder, a vertical band is printed with stripes in the traditional colours of the Blucerchiato club: royal blue, white, red, black, and then again white and blue. On the chest, on the right, in silicon print and in silver, there is the Macron Hero, logo of the Italian brand, while on the left, heart-side, the patch with the club’s crest.

Two other features characterise this special shirt. The first is the St. George's cross, the symbol of the Ligurian capital, always present on the Blucerchiata band. In this case, it is in silver and placed in the centre of the shirt. The second is a detail on the left sleeve: the silver inscription, 12 August 1946, the date of the founding of Unione Calcio. On the outside back collar, in silver, is printed the profile of the Baciccia, symbol of the team.
A shirt which, on the one hand, contains the message shared by Sampdoria’s initiative, of participation in the community; and on the other hand, speaks to the Italian brand’s commitment towards environmental sustainability. This commitment, carried by the project ‘Macron 4 The Planet’, has been manifested through several initiatives, among which the use of Eco-Fabric (100% recycled plastic certified by the Global Recycled Standard) in the production of technical garments. The special Samp for People jersey, made of Eco-Sirena Light and Eco-Micromesh fabric, becomes a perfect ‘manifesto’ of the great Blucerchiato heart with a green soul.
