Southampton 2021-22 Hummel Away Kit

Southampton Football Club revealed the new 21/22 away kit, produced by hummel.

This season’s away kit sees a return of Southampton’s traditional yellow alternative shirts with the bespoke design taking inspiration from the club’s kit worn between 1991/93, incorporating a new flame graphic for a modern twist.

The shirt’s design also pays tribute to both St Mary’s and The Dell, with detailed structural design of both stadiums featuring on the inner back neck of the shirt, a tribute to 20 years at St Mary’s on the back, and the names of stands from both grounds printed on the inner back neck hem.

Really nice, but like Everton last year, 3x the same template is a bit lazy. However, like the Everton kits this year, the pictures don’t do the Hummel kits justice either, look much better in real life as such.

I'm slightly emotionless over this kit. It is a bit of a nothing in terms of what I like. Plain and ordinary can also mean simple and effective.

Even as a Pompey fan it's nice to see Saints have a yellow and blue away kit.

Last years third kit, White with the red sash was easily the best kit of the year. This year they're all meh,,, meh.
I mean when are the saints going to wear the black and pink third kit when I don't know anyone that plays in a yellow and red kit

Qualified agreement. I am sure only two strips should be necessary, if teams thought about the colour of their second strip provining a suitable contrast in the event of theit first strip clashing. Sadly, the white/red sash doesn't provide sufficent contrast against white shirted home teams, when we can't wear the stripes. I'm not sure what meh, meh means.
