The new Puma Away shirt for the Uruguayan national side has been unveiled.
Rather than having the famous Asociación Uruguaya de Fútbol (AUF) crest as a focal point, the German manufacturer has plumped for the team name - URUGUAY - in a yellowish beige, modern font on the white base.
This is flanked by two horizontal blue strips, complementing if not matching the cuff and shoulder trim, while the crest does appear as part of a repeating texture pattern.

The 2021-22 shirt, which also carries the Puma logos in the same tone as the side’s aforementioned moniker detail, will likely be part of an all-white outfit if and when called upon in the upcoming Copa América.
