German Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart have released a striking new Home shirt.
The Jako release, carrying the brand’s trademark dots on the shoulders, retains the famous red-band-on-white-base look but breaks with tradition by adding part-edging in black.
The recognisable Mercedes-Benz (Bank) logo is bold and filled in black (with the type below in less obtrusive white-on-red) and the red-black theme of the aforementioned iconic focal point - also the palette of Stuttgart’s historical state of Württemberg - is repeated on the neck and cuffs.

The crest is rendered in full colour and the shirt, which also references designs of the 1980s and 1990s and is made from recycled materials, will be worn with black shorts and white socks.
