AC Milan unveiled their new 2021/22 Home kit by Puma to be worn by the Women’s, Men’s and youth teams.

The new AC Milan Home kit takes inspiration from the energy, creativity and style of Milan. The new kit celebrates what it means to ‘Move Like Milan’, reflecting the rapid acceleration of the city’s culture as Milan reinvents itself.

The jersey features Milan’s iconic red and black stripes reinterpreted at various widths in a single, symmetrical design, celebrating the creative balance of tradition and modernity giving rise to a new Milan, from the pitch to the streets to the city skyline.

As a horizon of modern skyscrapers emerges in the city, so does a new state of mind. The Milanese are embracing international influences at a striking pace, setting their sights on the future, eager to spark a new era of creativity and innovation for the ever-elegant metropolis.

Not for me, the Puma template and the collar is pretty poor. I also don’t like the asymmetrical stripes design, there is too much red. I’m disappointed to be honest.

Why is the collar different on the player pictures?

Looks ok but way too much red, might look better if the colours were swapped around.

They had beautiful shirts in the days of Gullit and Van Basten but this just doesn't cut the mustard

Had the stripes been all the same size either thin or thick this would have been nice. I like the predominant red over black Milan home shirts but the awful variation of thickness of stripes on the ruin the top. The best ac Milan tops are the most beautiful football shirts ever made.. yet they have still managed to mess it up this year.

I get that kit manufacturers need to keep things fresh and create new designs every year, but this trend of veering well away from tradition can only strip away a club's identity in the long run. We've seen it with Juve's kits in recent years, and the new Inter home kit is another drastic departure.

The version the players are wearing is better than the picture at the top of the page. Why are they different? A players version costing was more £€$ perhaps?

"The new kit celebrates (insert the usual meaningless marketing bollocks here. Make sure you use words 'spirit', 'city culture' and 'passionate fans')

They say that if you scan the barcode on the front, it will add to their massive debt...
