Middlesbrough revealed their new home shirt for the 2021/22 season.

The home shirts, produced by hummel, are inspired by Teesside’s iconic Transporter Bridge - and as was the case in the club's promotion-winning 1994/95 campaign, the silhouette of the bridge is part of the kit’s unique design.

Boro’s signature white band continues to have pride of place, bearing the logo of Principal Partner 32Red*, while hummel’s trademark chevrons adorn each sleeve.

For the first time since the return to hummel in 2018, Boro will be in all red - the home shirts paired with red shorts and red socks, which will be on sale to supporters at a later date.

Needs to be a white hoop like the original 70s design. If Boca Jr's can do it why not the mighty Boro?

Could've been great but they put the bridge on it 5 times rather than 1. It looks to over the top for my liking. A golden opportunity missed

Set your limits - my limits are grotesque betting firms trying to screw every last penny out of their gullible customers and future customers. Did clubs not read the report that shows how advertising of this sort has most influence on children?

Get a grip snowflake

I like it, all red kit with the white band on the shirt, classy, don’t like the betting sponsor, it’s financially and morally wrong. How many clubs are advertising betting? Appalling.

Looks no different to last year's kit

Like the transporter design reminds me of the 95 shirt well done hummel

The white panels under the arms are unnecessary.

The Transporter Bridge design doesn't translate on the shirt. It's an engineering relic anyway, and the love of it in Middlesbrough is an indication of how much the townsfolk are living in the past, Maybe next season's shirt will have the faces of Juninho and Ravanelli embedded into the weave.

Couldn't agree more - just like Big Ben in London. What's the point when we can check the time on our phones?!
