The Mexican national side have revealed a new crest.
To be debuted on kits in 2022, with a view to be carried at the Qatar 2022 World Cup too, the new emblem is a departure from the previous and both modern and boasting art-deco styling.
The design was also produced, with help from the Federación Mexicana de Fútbol’s technical partner adidas, with one eye on Mexico’s hosting duties for the 2026 mundial.

Including important elements - the colors of the flag, in some contexts, the eagle, and the Aztec sun stone - this crest replaces its predecessor after the latter’s 33 years in the position.
