Sangalo Welcomes New Teams to Their Stocklist

Football shirt distributor Sangalo are continuing in their mission to highlight lesser-known teams from across the planet to football (kit) fans globally.

The New York-based entity have added four new sides to their catalogue, namely Tanzania’s Kinondoni Municipal Council Football Club - KMC FC - Senegal’s Stade de Mbour, Cambodia’s Svay Rieng and Belize’s Verdes FC.

Starting in Africa, KMC FC’s INA Sports shirts are pretty understated - especially for that continent - with the Dar es Salaam-based “Kino Boys” taking to the field in the Tanzanian Premier League in either white with subtle grey sublimation or stylish orange with black trim.

It’s a slightly different story for the Petite-Côte’s Stade de Mbour, who also have a white-with-grey-sublimation shirt, from Jaxaay Wear, but its Atlantic Ocean, er, oceanscape is a little louder and, like on the red-and-white-striped shirt, more colour is added through partner branding/”patches”.

Heading to South America, the former “Real Verdes Football Club” from San Ignacio - now Verdes FC - will appeal to kit aficionados who like a sponsor or two, and they provide an alternative to their V-centric green-and-white design with a white-and-green design (or is the green-and-white design the alternative to the white-and-green design?). A little unorthodox, and the leading Premier League of Belize side would struggle if they were playing themselves, but who does that?

Finally, Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng Football Club, who are a force to be reckoned with in the Cambodian Premier League, have a classy duo of FBT shirts comprising a largely tonal blue affair and a deep-red number with blue sleeves. The combination of measured patterning and surprisingly only moderately obtrusive full-colour partner logos on those works well, and they’ll be snapped up by plenty a collector.

So Sangalo - who now also offer a ball to kick around while wearing the shirts they have available - have delivered once again. You might not have heard of all the teams - or maybe any of them - but new items are surely being added to wishlists thanks to them being brought to people’s attention.
