Nike has launched their new Nike Air Zoom Mercurial Superfly 9 Elite KM FG football boots in Dark Beetroot/Metallic Vivid Gold, a signature edition colourway honouring Kylian Mbappe’s heritage with a modern twist.
Designed with input from the PSG speedster himself, the boots mix influences from Parisian Afropop and the Air Jordan 7, one of Kylian’s favourite sneakers.
Naturally, they also feature the Merc’s springy Zoom Air unit for those trademark Mbappe bursts of speed. That’s right, Zoom Air: flip the boot upside down for a look at the specially developed forefoot airbag in all its articulated glory. When you push off or change direction, it flexes with your foot and returns energy to propel you into action, working with tri-star studs to enable the dynamic moves that make the difference in the final third. It’s not just the soleplate that’s faster than ever.

Every aspect of the Vaporposite+ upper has been optimised for speed. Ventilated Flyknit and a cut-out Speed Cage lining combine to provide lightweight, flexible support, and the outer layer features chevron texturing, engineered to give a natural, tactile feel on the ball when dribbling at pace. For comfort, the seams at the ankle are offset to relieve pressure on the Achilles, while the refined central lacing system accommodates a wider range of foot shapes and allows easy entry to get you game-ready in no time.
