A new adidas Originals collection has been unveiled to celebrate the half-centenary of the German brand’s initial association with the Asociación del Fútbol Argentino (AFA) and the Argentina national team.
Accompanying the commemorative playing kit worn recently, the 2024 leisurewear range that marks the 50 years since the two organisations first coupled in 1974 is in “Ambient Sky [blue]” and “Shadow Navy” and comprises a tracksuit - split into a track top and track pants - a t-shirt and a pair of shorts.
The retro-focused releases see the adidas branding kept to the timeless - Trefoil logos and sleeve/leg striping - and the crest is in simple stylised initialism form.
