Classic Football Shirts, as part of their festive 2023 range, have unveiled this “Kerst-Krans Christmas Jumper”.
The blue-with-red-and-white creation, featuring Finnish legend Jari Litmanen’s name and number 10 on the reverse, is styled like the shirt Ajax Amsterdam wore in their famous 1995 Champions League Final victory over Milan - of course with yuletide references.
Most notably, the Dutch side’s iconic vertical “ABN-AMBRO” sponsor is replaced with the nominal “KERST-KRANS” (kerstkrans is a Christmas wreath or confection in that form) and the Greek mythological hero Ajax the Great makes way for Santa Claus’s image on the centrally placed crest.
