This is Manchester-based online retailer Classic Football Shirts’ new “Felicita” Christmas jumper.
As part of the 2024 range, the ACF Fiorentina-inspired creation nods to the Fila shirt worn by the Viola in the 1997-98 season, with the number-9 “print” of club legend Gabriel Batistuta accordingly adorning the reverse.
Of course, with this being a festively flavoured release, the design isn’t entirely faithful to the original, with the yellow sleeve trim that contrasts with the famous purple taking the form of a Christmas tree outline and the Santa-hatted cartoon Batistuta on the lower portion nodding to sponsor Nintendo - “BuonNatale (“Good Christmas”) here - and the Florence-based Italian Serie A side’s mythical Mario-carrying shirts.
