This “Jay-Jay” Christmas jumper is part of Manchester-based retailer Classic Football Shirts’ latest range.
Referring to one Augustine Azuka "Jay-Jay" Okocha - the Nigerian was regarded by fans as being “so good they named him twice - the new white product is decorated with a combination of festive imagery and stylings of Bolton Wanderers, where Okocha enjoyed a spectacular four-year spell.
The specific inspiration is the Reebok 2005-06 Home shirt design for the English side and boasts the sportswear brand’s wordmark in the sponsor position replaced with a similarly presented “Reindeer”, as well as a depiction of Okocha on the lower portion and his famous number-10 personalisation on the reverse.
