Chelsea have launched, thanks to Score Draw, new “Black Out” and “Blank Out” versions of their 1997-98 (and 1998-99) Home shirt.
The blackout- and whiteout-styled takes on the Umbro-supplied design that carried the iconic “AUTOGLASS” sponsor are accurately panelled, collared and jacquard’d, with non-contrast shields housing the club crest.
The inspirational article was worn as Chelsea secured the 1997-98 Coca-Cola Cup (Football League Cup), the 1997-98 Uefa European Cup Winners’ Cup and the 1998 Uefa Super Cup, and it also informed the design of the first-choice shirt the Blues have been wearing in their 2023-24 campaigns.
