Manchester City have a number of fanwear ranges which include some very interesting items.
One collection, billed as consisting of retro shirts, has naming that should not too be taken too literally, as the ’68 bears the hallmarks of a current pre-match/warmup release, the ’70 may be coloured like a 1970s Away but is particularly modern in style, and the ’99 has less in common with the famous Wembley play-off final playing wear than a goalkeeper shirt from last season and an Away from 2018.
Regardless, the oversized crests on the reverses and the “MAN”-less “CITY”s on the front make these releases arguably superior to some of Puma’s similar output.
