l’Olympique de Marseille have released a new Puma collectors’ edition “OM x Africa” shirt in “Noir/Vert/Rouge” ().
The new shirt has been released to celebrate Africa’s influence in both the club - from the hierarchy to the playing staff - and the fanbase. This version - one of three - is in the colours of Morocco, which as a country and people has particular ties with the club and city.
The club is involved in various programmes in Africa, which has been celebrated with “Africa Week” in recent days. The shirt - carrying embroidered Puma logos and the club crest in white over the patterning - is unlikely to be worn in a match but may appear during the warm-up of the upcoming league fixture against Rennes.
