This is a special shirt from Umbro, in collaboration with fashion brand LC23, which celebrates the 30th anniversary of the British football kit supplier’s Speciali boot, released in 1992.
The patchwork-style release actually features nods to many shirts that were released before 1992, as well as some from 1992, and has the “umbro” [sic] wording in lowercase despite the year of the Premier League’s inception seeing the case change upward.
Included in the mashup are representations of shirts worn by Northern Ireland, England, Manchester United, Chelsea, Napoli, Ajax, Inter Milan, Sheffield United, Celtic and Scotland, and the garment features a printed “92” on the reverse.
