Aston Villa and adidas have unveiled their new home shirt for the 2024/25 season, celebrating both the start of their multi-year partnership and the club's 150th anniversary.

The home kit pays homage to Aston Villa's history, featuring an ‘AV 150’ emblem in elegant calligraphy on the back of the shirt. It includes the new club crest, an ‘1874’ sign-off, and adidas’s three-stripes branding on the shoulders and collar.

The kit is completed with solid white shorts and signature blue socks.

Very basic. The collar is nice but the adidas stripes on our sleeves just looks dead wrong to me.

Third kit?!

It's OK I suppose. The collar detail makes it a tad different from bog standard. This sponsor must be raking it in because they are everywhere. Seems like the only companies with money to sponsor are Middle East airlines, Far East betting companies or crypto firms.

Best Villa kit in years! No alternate coloring on the snakey-windy part of the template, true color choices (actual claret and blue), nice details—and it's indisputably Villa. If it had Acorns as the sponsor instead of another lame betting company, it'd be brilliant.

it’s a template but a good one - Arsenal’s is better though. Another generic betting company isn’t ideal.
